WELCOME TO NORTHSHORE WOMEN IN BUSINESS
Northshore Women in Business is a local community for women who are building businesses, growing careers, and supporting each other along the way. We're rooted right here in Lago Vista, Point Venture, and Jonestown, and we believe big things happen when women in small communities show up for one another.
From casual meetups to educational workshops and networking events, we bring together women across industries who share a desire to grow, lead, and support one another.

Together in Pink
Saturday, October 24th at 1 p.m.
Join us Saturday, October 24th, 1 to 5 PM at Alba Wine Bar's patio for Together in Pink, our first Breast Cancer Awareness event, where we come together to raise awareness, share education, and celebrate that strength.
We'll have live acoustic sets by Kelly Outlaw and Bleached Roses, vendors, tattoos by Lago Vista Tattoo Company, photo ops, and more!
Wear pink. Bring a friend. Come honor someone, celebrate someone, or just show up and be part of it.

Member Spotlight
Allison Sargent
Allison Sargent is a violinist, music teacher, Chamber Director, and Northshore’s biggest cheerleader.
Allison owns Sargent Strings teaching violin, viola, cello, and ukulele to students age 3 to adult. She directs the North Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce, and plays with several orchestras across Central Texas. And somehow, she still makes time to show up. Farmer’s markets, ribbon cuttings, wine nights. Cheering on every local business like it’s her own.

Suzy Valles
Suzy Valles is the owner of The Wild Navy, a Lago Vista boutique and community staple!
Boycotting boring since 2020. That’s the whole vibe at The Wild Navy, and it starts with Suzy. Bright colors, bold prints, and everything you need to feel the best. What started as a boutique in Lago Vista now ships color and confidence to women all over the country, and that is a testament to Suzy’s hard work and resilience.

Aliya Kay
Aliya Kay is a photographer and owner of Aliya Kay Photography.
Aliya shoots it all: couples, families, seniors, and branding sessions. But it’s her creative concepts that set her apart, from stranger shoots to full concept sessions, her work stands out from the usual photography feed.
She’s also a big proponent of giving back, running giveaways and exclusive packages throughout the year. Not a one-off promotion, but a regular part of how she supports the community she’s part of.

Mo, President
Lexi, Vice President
Hi, we’re your founders, Mo and Lexi.
We started Northshore Women in Business with a simple vision. We wanted to create a supportive community where women can connect, grow, and lift each other up. Through our own experiences in leadership, entrepreneurship, and consulting, we saw how powerful it is when women have spaces to collaborate, share ideas, and support one another. We believe that when women support each other, entire communities thrive.
Mo is a native Austinite who built her career in business and operations, earning her MBA and becoming a Chief Operations Officer in the semiconductor industry. Alongside her corporate leadership role, she works as a business consultant with organizations ranging from small boutique salons to larger organizations like the Round Rock Express. Mo is passionate about helping small businesses succeed and empowering women to step confidently into leadership and entrepreneurship.
Lexi’s journey began in music. After growing up playing violin, she moved to Central Texas on a music scholarship to study violin and later relocated to Austin to pursue music professionally. During that time, she co-founded a record label that supported Austin musicians by providing resources and opportunities to grow their craft. While technology began as a day job, Lexi’s leadership skills and creative mindset led her into IT leadership during the pandemic. Today she is a Senior IT Operations Manager, helping shape IT strategy and leading teams of engineers. She is also active in Austin Women in Tech, Austin AI Alliance, and Latinas in Tech.
In 2025, we began working together in business consulting to help small businesses grow and navigate challenges. After living in Lago Vista for six years, we realized something was missing. There were few opportunities for women in business to regularly connect, network, and support each other locally. From that realization, Northshore Women in Business was created.
Our goal is to cultivate a community where women can build meaningful relationships, share knowledge, and grow together. Whether you are a business owner, work in business, want to grow your career, or are simply passionate about supporting women, Northshore Women in Business is a place where women can gather, learn, and lift each other up.
