Northshore Women in Business is a local community for women who are building businesses, growing careers, and supporting each other along the way. We're rooted right here in Lago Vista, Point Venture, and Jonestown, and we believe big things happen when women in small communities show up for one another.
From casual meetups to educational workshops and networking events, we bring together women across industries who share a desire to grow, lead, and support one another.

Northshore Women in Business exists to connect, support, and elevate women in business across the Northshore region. We create opportunities for meaningful relationships, professional growth, and shared success through community, education, and collaboration.

Hi, we’re your founders, Mo and Lexi.
We started Northshore Women in Business with a simple vision. We wanted to create a supportive community where women can connect, grow, and lift each other up. Through our own experiences in leadership, entrepreneurship, and consulting, we saw how powerful it is when women have spaces to collaborate, share ideas, and support one another. We believe that when women support each other, entire communities thrive.
Mo is a native Austinite who built her career in business and operations, earning her MBA and becoming a Chief Operations Officer in the semiconductor industry. Alongside her corporate leadership role, she works as a business consultant with organizations ranging from small boutique salons to larger organizations like the Round Rock Express. Mo is passionate about helping small businesses succeed and empowering women to step confidently into leadership and entrepreneurship.
Lexi’s journey began in music. After growing up playing violin, she moved to Central Texas on a music scholarship to study violin and later relocated to Austin to pursue music professionally. During that time, she co-founded a record label that supported Austin musicians by providing resources and opportunities to grow their craft. While technology began as a day job, Lexi’s leadership skills and creative mindset led her into IT leadership during the pandemic. Today she is a Senior IT Operations Manager, helping shape IT strategy and leading teams of engineers. She is also active in Austin Women in Tech, Austin AI Alliance, and Latinas in Tech.
In 2025, we began working together in business consulting to help small businesses grow and navigate challenges. After living in Lago Vista for six years, we realized something was missing. There were few opportunities for women in business to regularly connect, network, and support each other locally. From that realization, Northshore Women in Business was created.
Our goal is to cultivate a community where women can build meaningful relationships, share knowledge, and grow together. Whether you are a business owner, work in business, want to grow your career, or are simply passionate about supporting women, Northshore Women in Business is a place where women can gather, learn, and lift each other up.
